The objectives of this work package include the following aspects:
- Overall project management: legal requirements and contracts, timely and efficient implementation of the work plan and continuous monitoring of all project activities, including tracking of milestones, deliverables and the demonstrators issued from the supply chains.
- Communication with the Programme Officer, with the consortium, with external experts and the public audience, including progress reporting (i.e. reviews, periodic and final reports).
- Facilitation of the activities of the Advisory Board, including preparation of project progress presentations and workshops
- Administrative management of the project, including distribution of the financial contribution to the consortium (through the coordinator) according to the Grant Agreement; assistance in obtaining certificates on the financial statements from each of the participants; keep records and financial accounts as well as inform the CHIPS JU of its distribution.
- Monitor that all relevant rules and regulations (i.e. contractual, legal, ethical, security) related to the project are properly considered and any relevant conventions are respected.
- Management of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and Innovation Management. Manage and monitor the IPRs and all foreground from the project. Provide and negotiate the consortium agreement to be signed by all partners to specify all rules about intellectual property generated within the project, including access rights, exploitation, and dissemination activities. Draw the contracts, which comply with the guidelines for IPRs of Horizon Europe and CHIPS JU projects published, and negotiated, agreed, and signed by all partners.
- Management of access to chip production through multi-project wafers (MPW). Particular attention will be paid to managing access to MPW with a monitoring committee set up to ensure that demonstrator development is kept under control.
Main Objectives:
- O1.1: Ensuring that the funding provided by the EC is utilised according to the CHIPS JU programme objectives and put to maximum benefit for the project participants, the European economy and all European citizens.
- O1.2: Establishing the contractual project foundations: Grant Agreement, Consortium Agreement and possible amendments
- O1.3: Ensuring overall project management, timely and efficient implementation of the work plan and continuous monitoring of all project activities (incl. tracking of milestones, deliverables and risks).
- O1.4: Ensuring technical management of the project including the communication management within the project and with European Commission (EC), incl. progress reporting (periodic/final reports).
- O1.5: Ensuring administrative management for the project, including distribution of the EC's financial contribution to the consortium (through the coordinator) according to the Grant Agreement.
