T6.1 External communication and dissemination of the results

A set of communication tools will be setup by D&R, as communication manager, and feed by all partners for external communication of STARLight project results, through a dedicated web site , www.starlight-project.eu:

  • First, the graphic charter, including logo, documents templates (for reports, deliverables, PowerPoint presentations),
  • A non-confidential PowerPoint presentation, to be used for initial press release preparation, and for general communication, and revisions planned on a yearly basis,
  • A set of communication and dissemination rules to be used among the consortium, associated with the initial and revised plans,
  • A project newsletter for press and stakeholders that will summarize STARLight project results at the end of each year of the project, a first newsletter will be proposed few months after the project kick-off (M6) with project presentation and objectives,
  • A public project website to be created at the beginning of the project (M3) and will include non-confidential information on the project background and goals and will be then regularly updated with project results and agenda,
  • Social network (e.g. YouTube, LinkedIn and X) dedicated project accounts will be created and partners will be trained to ensure maximized contributions.
  • Public sessions will be promoted to present general project results, in the presence of European international experts, as well as open days and dissemination sessions to promote the projects results to the whole value chain,
  • Photonics event and special session organized by a partner will be announced and promoted on the STARLight portal as well as in News Alerts. It is mandatory for each partner to declare at least 6 months in advance any STARLight centric organized event or sessions thus allowing promotion online and in News Alert. Assistance from D&R ranges, according to request, from promotion in News Alerts, to support of submission, to attendee registration, to program display up to the creation of a virtual twin event through posting talks on YouTube if relevant for attracting more audience online.
  • Interview will be proposed during any event thus attracting more worldwide attention. It is recommended to organize Interview at any project review meetings specifically to promote "Use cases" which are commonly the most attractive results of the project.

Regarding dissemination, a dedicated process/tool to follow up scientific publications/posters/conferences generated by the project partners and ensure the application of best practices (in particular concerning open access) will be set by D&R as dissemination manager. It will be associated to Task 1.4 - Research Data Management.
